Help talk:For researchers

Hello! I. Honestly don't know what to say here. My name is Jefferson, and I guess I just made the discussion page for the For Researchers page. Anyway, I suggest that under Robot Types, "Protogen" is ti be either removed or replaced with "Cyborg". The reason? Simple. Protogens aren't entirely robots like the other types; they're both organic and artificial. That would by definition make them cyborgs, and while I was very happy to see that page listed there (it's one of my favorite species, after all!) I feel like replacing it with a page about cyborgs in general would be more fitting and cover a wider area, as not all people may identify as entirely a machine/robot, but as partly one. Not fully one or the other, just both I would say. And if you ask me, the closed species, Primagen, is a lot more fitting of the description of "robot" considering the only organic parts on a primagen are just the brain and spinal chord. Thanks for reading, and I'll cya!

Hi. This doesn't really make sense. The purpose of having a separate Protogen page is to document the species specifically. Merging it into the general Cyborg page, with all due respect, makes very little sense. Primagens are still cyborgs too, because they still have organic components. On the page, Primagen is also included because they're variations of one another. I appreciate the comment, but merging would just lead to unnecessary clutter when Cyborg is intended to cover cyborgs in general. C0NN1E (talk) 17:17, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
