Doll
Dolls are a subset of feminine androids that are designed with a specific purpose, such as service or combat, and serve an owner or controller.
They share some overlap with drones, however dolls are usually unique and do not intend to obfuscate their identities in the same way that drones do.
Combat dolls
Combat dolls, also referred to as tactical dolls, are a subset of dolls designed for combat purposes. They are typically depicted as agile, tactically minded, and proficient with firearms or other weaponry.
The controller of a combat doll is often referred to as a “wielder”, with the doll as their weapon.
Service dolls
Service dolls are a subset of dolls designed for domestic service, such as cooking and cleaning. They are often depicted wearing black and white French maid clothing.
In popular culture
In media
The T-Dolls from the Girls’ Frontline video game series are the most prominent example of the combat doll archetype in mass media.
In the robotkin community
Combat dolls, and dolls generally, are considered part of the robotkin community by virtue of their self-identification as machines.
